iPhone Model Number Check
Type the model number from Settings → General → About (tap “Model Number” once to see the A-number) and find out which iPhone you have, its release year, and the repair page for it.
Where to find it
- Open Settings → General → About.
- Find Model Number. It shows a part number like
MQ9T3. - Tap it once. It changes to the A-number, like
A2882.
Phone won't turn on? On the iPhone 7 and earlier the A-number is printed on the back. Otherwise bring it in; identification is part of the free diagnosis.

Why the model number matters for repair
Two iPhones that look identical can use different displays, batteries and charging assemblies. The iPhone 14 and 14 Plus have a removable back glass; the 14 Pro does not. The iPhone 15 uses USB-C; the 14 uses Lightning. The iPhone 13 mini battery is a different shape from the 13. Sending us the A-number on WhatsApp means we quote the right part and have it ready before you arrive. Use the repair cost estimator once you know your model.
